A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting a dance cover story for the Winter 2014 issue of West Hollywood Magazine. Photographed using the Leica S and 35mm and 70mm CS lenses, the shoot took place high above Sunset Boulevard on the rooftop of the Andaz Hotel, a hip boutique hotel located in West Hollywood, CA. The direction for the shoot was to showcase the talents of 8 professional dancers- Kim Gingras, Taylor James, Melanie Mah, Michael Silas, Vincent Noiseux, and twins Jayme Rae and Jenny Dailey.

Here is the cover along with a few outtakes and behind the scenes from the shoot. In addition to great energy and camaraderie on set, we were rewarded with gorgeous views of the Los Angeles skyline.
